Mining & Exploration

Exploration Clearing

 

Our fleet of environmentally-friendly front-end loaders and backhoes are proven performers in clearing grid lines and preparing pads and sumps for RC, Diamond and RAB rigs. The ability to mobilise in-house allows access from Kalgoorlie to remote areas on schedule and at a manageable cost. Operators are particularly aware of the responsibilities to special needs areas (eg endangered flora) and follow the Ground Masters minimum clearance policy and government guidelines.

Site Rehabilitation

 

Part of the service on offer is the rehabilitation of sites - both current and historic, following up on drilling activity by removing sample bags, filling in sumps and preparing ground for natural revegetation. Our purpose-built spring-loaded scarifiers are ideal for returning disturbed ground to a natural state, after which fallen and removed vegetation is returned to site whenever possible to create seed traps and assist with erosion prevention. Areas thus rehabbed have demonstrated excellent regeneration without any need for intervention or seeding. (For more information on scarifying see Environmental Services).

Machinery & Plant Transport

 

Machinery and plant up to 16-tonne capacity with dimensions up to 8 metres x 2.5 metres can be reliably transported to any site, regional or remote.

Backhoes & Mini Excavator
Rock-breakers optional

 

Our extender boom side-shift equipped 4-wheel drive backhoes and our 5 tonne mini excavator have optional Rammer hydraulic rock-breakers available and offer versatility for all suburban or mine-site situations. We have a unique ability to self-mobilise a suitable machine for challenging, confined, or remote terrain conditions.

Remote minesites & camp setups

 

As specialists in remote location earthworks we are able to assist with a range of services relating to minesite and camp infrastructure. Of course we can do all earthworks associated with such remote sites including trenching, construction of access roads, parking areas, camp setups, delivery of materials and equipment including tanks etc. We can source and/or provide affiliated tradesmen such as electricians, plumbers etc who also are specialists in remote minesite or camp requirements. Our depth of experience in such circumstances is invaluable when planning a project and we undertake a range of tasks that you would not normally expect from an earthmoving company, so please enquire if you have a logistical problem that you need solved.
